At CCI we take a methodical, data and fact based approach to our work. It is a combination of art and science, but more importantly, it is proven to work and proven to make our clients more successful. We follow a four-step process that we uniquely customize to meet the needs, and the budget, of each of our clients. Incorporated with the process are our “tools of the trade” that we apply in an expert manner to support our analysis, recommendations and project implementation.

 

Step One: Discovery and Planning – Align Objectives and Establish Success Criteria

As the first step in the process, we work to immerse ourselves into becoming acutely aware of your business goals and objectives and more importantly, the obstacles that stand in your way of success. 

Our Discovery Process takes us through a series of strategic business reviews with key stakeholders; data gathering exercises to fuel our work and our analysis; and objective setting discussions to frame a mutual understanding of what it will take to reach your goals and how we define success. Our Planning Process is a highly scripted and instrumented task of articulating and documenting what is required to deliver success. Based on our discovery process, our planning sets the course and serves as consensual buy in on the direction we will take. It is the basis for all work that follows and all resultant work products.

Step Two: Data Capture and Analysis – Gain Insight and Identify Areas of Opportunity

The majority of learning and insight comes about during the Data Capture and Analysis process. Through an analytical lens we study your business and your customers; your market and your competition. Pulling from our expert background and experience, we apply proven research and analytical techniques such as Primary and Secondary Research, Behavioral Segmentation and Profiling, Customer Experience Mapping and others, to deliver data and fact based evidence of what is at the core, good and bad, of your business performance and your customers’ level of engagement. This scientific view is key to preventing costly mistakes that typically result when business decisions are made primarily on an intuitive or political basis.

Step Three: Design and Develop – Taking Action through a Targeted Approach

Taking action is where we add the art. Fueled by fact and data, designing and targeting the right approach requires finesse and thinking outside of the box.

Customer segments vary and so should your approach. We help you develop customized treatment and messaging strategies and align them with your internal processes to meet the demands of differing customer needs. We match your marketing execution strategy to prospect and customer needs, and refine it for maximum results. We identify opportunities to build relationships with your most valued customers and where there is a propensity for great customers to leave you; we help devise strategies to keep them. Throughout the process, we uncover execution gaps and develop plans to close them.

Just as an athlete requires proper equipment to perform successfully, in business it is virtually impossible to be successful without being properly equipped. In the absence, or poor utilization, of sales and marketing tools, we assist in ensuring the right tools are in place and that the business is primed and enabled for success. Step Four: Track and Refine – Measure Results and Continuously Improve

It is a reality; you can’t improve what you cannot track. And, you can’t prove success if you can’t track results. CCI firmly believes that inherent to any program design are tracking and reporting mechanisms.  Further these tracking and reporting mechanisms are components of a bigger continuous improvement process that enables the business to capitalize on results by refining and optimizing processes to continuously meet and exceed business objectives and goals.
